NBCUniversal Unveils Comprehensive "Championship Sunday" Programming

NBCUniversal unveiled its “Championship Sunday” programming for May 11th, the final day of the Barclay’s Premier League. Less than a month away, NBCUniversal will execute its most inclusive broadcast of the Premier League in the United States. What is queuing up to be a day of high-stakes and rollercoasters-of-emotion, all 10 matches will be broadcasted simultaneously across NBC’s family of networks. The race for the title and escape from relegation will begin at 10 am ET. Below are the participating networks

NBC
Bravo
NBCSN
Syfy
USA
Esquire Network
CNBC
E!
MSNBC
Oxygen
Telemundo*
mun2*
*Spanish-language telecast

“Championship Sunday” will give viewers the opportunity to monitor the Primer League in a manner never before experienced. During what has been a season riddled with ups and downs, there is no day more exciting and unpredictable than the final day of the season. While catering to the needs of Premier League fans in America, “Championship Sunday” will ideally expose a new demographic to English football. NBCUniversal and Premier League plan to use “Championship Sunday” as a platform to project new content on channels that would otherwise broadcast reality shows, dramas, or financial news.

Come May 11 a champion will be crowned and three teams relegated. With Champions League and Europa League berths at stake, the soccer-gods will dictate who will prevail and who will falter. “Championship Sunday” will allow viewers to absorb every minute of every match (plus stoppage time!) all at your finger tips.
