SMTSU Member Spotlight: Travis Sheehan

Travis Sheehan is a pre-junior sport management student at Drexel University destined to make a name for himself in the sports industry.  From Bordentown, NJ, Travis’ industry interests lie in sports law and more specifically in baseball which is also his favorite sport. 

Given the fact that Travis is a baseball fanatic from New Jersey, it makes sense that his favorite team is the Evil Empire themselves, the New York Yankees.  Derek Jeter, the Captain, is his favorite player. 

Travis is well on his way to a career in baseball having already completed one co-op as the marketing intern with the Camden Riversharks, an independent league team.  In the upcoming spring and summer terms, Travis will be a front office intern with the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees.

With the upcoming internship with the Trenton Thunder, Travis hopes to move up the ladder in the industry to reach his dream job of becoming the General Manager or President of Baseball Operations for the Yankees.

Kevin Rossi is a pre-junior Drexel Sport Management major with a minor in Communications. Kevin has worked at Double Eagle Golf where he is now Social Media Coordinator and Comcast-Spectacor as their market research intern.
